Mr. Ryczkowski and his lucky wife arrived in Dubai on Thursday morning. The couple immediately headed to Burj Al Arab (the 4th tallest hotel in the world) where they relaxed on a nearby beach for a couple of hours.

The rest of the day was then spent doing some of the necessary Dubai tourist excursions before heading to Abu Dhabi. These included:

Visiting the Burj Khalifa – the tallest building in the world. Mr. Ryczkowski  has assured us that the view from the top was absolutely breathtaking!

A trip to the Dubai Mall - featuring more than 1,200 stores and a host of world-class attractions (including a waterfall and an aquarium).

Stopping over on The Palm Jumeirah to view the unbelievable Atlantis Hotel.

Mr. Ryczkowski and his wife celebrated the 'lucky number 11' day by attending the first practice session at Yas Marina Circuit. In the evening the couple attended a music concert at Yas Arena which they described as ‘astonishing’.

Saturday 12/11/2011

Gearing up for the big race day Mr. And Mrs. Ryczkowski spent the day sunbathing and relaxing by the pool before heading to the circuit to see the final qualifying session. The evening was again spent at a music concert, part of the F1 Concert Series featuring Britney Spears and Paul McCartney. The couple also finally managed to get a glimpse of the race circuit at night which they described as ‘very impressive’!

The day of the race arrived and according to the Ryczkowski’s the island was incredibly busy! They went to the track and watched the drivers track parade and the Etihad Air Show with Mr. Ryczkowski remarking how unusual it was to see “enormous airplanes which were quieter than small racing cars”.

Finally the race started and Mr. Ryczkowski had the following comments:

“It was fantastic - What a speed! What a noise! What a smell! It was a unique experience to be a part of that!”

The Ryczkowski’s spent their final day in the UAE soaking up the fun at Ferrari World, including the following rides:

• Formula Rossa rollercoaster – Accelerate up to 240km/h and see what 4.8 Gs really feels like!
• Scuderia Challenge – The ultimate state-of-the-art racing simulations
• Fiorano GT Challenge - Two competing rollercoasters race against each other. Each coaster car is a replica of a Ferrari F430 Spider

An Unforgettable Experience

As you can see, Mr. And Mrs. Ryczkowski had an absolutely amazing time attending the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. They had the time of their life and described the experience as “really unforgettable”!
