A SIGHT FOR SORE EYES!

There are none as blind as those who will not see! Perhaps this is slightly misquoted, but it is completely wrong in the eyes of an Indiana local, Bobby Guffey whose failing eyesight has made him a very rich man.

If he had followed his usual number choice regimen, he would have based his selection on a formula that had something to do with the birthdates of his children. While this was indeed his intention, his eyesight "let him down" resulting in the number 48, and not the intended 46 appearing on his playslip.

The erroneous ticket netted him a whopping $3,000,000 for the paltry entry fee making him a very happy - if a bit far-sighted man.

When asked about corrective eye surgery, Guffey laughed aloud saying: "My wife says it pays to be blind"

If this sounds too much like a tall story, it all fell into place when Guffey produced another ticket, this one featuring his preferred numbers, which he purchased immediately on realising he had made the mistake.

According to Guffey, the mortgage will be paid off and some serious travelling will take place. Fantastic news for this Grandfather of 10. You too could be winning big cash in the EuroMillions and UK lottery. Remember, one ticket is all it takes, and perhaps some fortuitous eyesight problems.
