How to play Oz Lotto:

Without any bonus numbers required to be selected in an Oz Lotto game, this Australian lottery is relatively straightforward to enter into. Just choose 7 (seven) lottery numbers from a possible 45, and you're on your way to winning.

In order to maximize players' winning potential, the lotto game draws a further two balls known as the 'Supplementary Numbers' (which you do not need to select). These are drawn in order to create additional prize tiers in which players can place and increase their chance of winning.

Rollover information / Jackpot Prizing:

The guaranteed minimum jackpot prize is AUD$2,000,000, with a roll over if the jackpot first place prize is not won. The top prize may roll over consecutively for up to 25 times - which could quite easily result in a nine-digit jackpot prize win (over AUD$100,000,000).

If the jackpot still doesn't get claimed after the 25th rollover, the top prize forfeits the potential winnings; which will then be automatically rolled down to the second prize tier and be divided amongst the players fortunate enough to place within this division.

The biggest jackpot prize win ever recorded in the Oz Lotto game was a massive AUD$111,972,151; which was won in November 2012.

Here is what you need to match in one game to win a prize ...

Division 1: All 7 main winning numbers
Division 2: Any 6 main winning numbers and either supplementary number
Division 3: Any 6 main winning numbers
Division 4: Any 5 main winning numbers and either supplementary number
Division 5: Any 5 main winning numbers
Division 6: Any 4 main winning numbers

Division 7: Any 3 main winning numbers and either supplementary number

When to play the Oz Lotto:

The Oz Lotto game draws take place every Tuesday at 20h30pm AEST.
